Sherman J. Freund - President
Sherman Freund, a graduate of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan, holds a bachelor’s degree in education as well as a master’s degree in guidance and counseling. He’s currently president and associate broker of Winston-Traitel Realty where he manages day to day operations, and creates, produces and activates marketing procedures. Sherman has trained Sales Associates in Leasing and Sales and continues to manage commercial and industrial properties.
Sherman first joined Winston-Traitel Realty in 1965 as Treasure and an associate broker. Prior to returning to Winston-Traitel Realty in 1990, Sherman served as president of DFS, Inc. in Farmington Hills, Michigan and as president and associate broker of ICI Property Consultants in Southfield, Michigan.
At Orchards Children’s Service, he served as a Child Mediator. He’s a past member of South Oakland Board of Realtors, Detroit Board of Realtors, Commercial, Industrial Roundtable and Huron Alumni Association of Eastern Michigan University.
Mark Lusky - Vice President
A graduate of Walsh College with a bachelor’s degree in business, Mark Lusky has been a licensed real estate agent for over 25 years and an associate broker for more than 15 years. His real estate career began at O’Riley Real Estate and after 2 years he left to join Winston Traitel Realty, Inc. In January of 2002, after being Top Producer the 2 previous years, Mark was promoted to Vice President of the company.
Mark has gained the respect of peers as an ethical, skilled practitioner, he is proficient in negotiating, structuring and delivering innovative solutions for complex real estate transactions. Mark’s largest transaction was the sale of a 455,000 square foot industrial building in Auburn Hills. Mark’s knowledge has helped many companies ranging from Fortune 500 companies, to small mom & pop companies in achieving their real estate goals for a total of hundreds of millions in real estate transaction value. Mark has been awarded the prestigious power broker award from CoStar for industrial real estate.
Michael D. Rose
Michael began his professional career in the automotive industry in 1986 after graduating from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. His first position was in quality assurance, which enabled Michael to gain a wide variety of skills and knowledge. In his successful tenure, Michael was promoted first to a supervisory level and ultimately to plant management.
After 15 years dealing with the constant change and instability of the automotive industry, Michael decided to pursue a career in sales. Michael had done this in his own business while attending college, and throughout his professional career, friends and family encouraged him to return to it. The birth of his son gave him the final motivational push to pursue it. The choice to pursue Commercial Real Estate was not taken lightly. Michael met with various people in the sales industry: insurance, residential real estate, etc. However, Commercial Real Estate seemed the most stimulating and challenging. Since Michael joined Winston-Traitel he has gained a tremendous amount of knowledge regarding the real estate business.
Michael specializes in religious and educational facilities, and with his high degree of motivation and sincerity to his clients and the commitment to himself, Michael helps his clients reach their business potential. Michael is consistently rated one of the firm’s top producers. Michael lives in West Bloomfield with his wife and son.
Jerry is a graduate of Wayne State College with a bachelor’s degree in business. Jerry has been a licensed real estate agent for over 45 years and a broker for almost the same amount of time. Jerry began his career as a business owner and in the 70’s changed career paths to follow his fascination with real estate, and has been with Winston-Traitel since the 70’s.
Jerry is skilled in negotiating, structuring, and strategic planning from simple to complex real estate transactions. He has prospered each year throughout his career, from small to large transactions with hard work, integrity, and his understanding of the dynamics of real estate.
Dawn began her real estate career in 1997 as a residential agent. In 2011, Dawn began working with Winston-Traitel Realty, Inc. as Office Manager, where she performed a variety of functions, from sale and leasing contracts, property management details, to bookkeeping. In 2016, Dawn became a full-time property manager at WTL Management, LLC. Her understanding of the dynamics of real estate have aided in her ability to accomplish these tasks in an efficient manner and to help the company run smoothly on a daily basis.
Jeff has been involved with commercial real estate since 1995. Over the years Jeff has gained considerable knowledge in the areas of leasing and investment sales. Jeff is a valuable asset to his clients, providing the market knowledge, and expertise his clients need when making sound real estate decisions. He has successfully represented both private and institutional real estate owners such as Hudson Advisors, Berkadia, GE Capital, Five Mile Capital and Torchlight Investors. He has also successfully completed many notable transactions with multinational corporations such as Magna International, Raytheon, Quest Diagnostics, Grammar Industries and Ally Financial.
Rachel joined the Winston-Traitel Realty, Inc team earlier this year. She can be found at the front desk greeting people, answering phones and accepting packages. Her main duties are organizing contracts / agreements, utilizing her graphic design skills by creating property brochures and overall maintaining the integrity of the office. Rachel lives in Commerce with her husband and three cats.
